Overview

At Gramin Adarsha College, our Master of Education (M.Ed.) program equips students to become high school teachers, educators, and education practitioners. Students gain expertise in foundational education, advanced educational psychology, measurement and evaluation, education and development, research methodologies, and contemporary issues in education. The program also offers specialization in subjects studied during the Bachelor of Education. Our aim is to develop highly skilled professionals ready to address national needs and excel internationally.

Objectives

The M.Ed. program at Gramin Adarsha College is designed to:

• Help students understand, analyze, and solve fundamental educational problems effectively.
• Enhance academic and professional competence while broadening knowledge in the student’s specialization.
• Develop the ability to diagnose learning challenges in students and apply strategies to support their progress.
• Encourage graduates to act as agents of social change, engage in research, pursue lifelong learning, and grow professionally in education.

Admission Requirements

Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from colleges or universities recognized by Tribhuvan University are eligible for admission. Specific subject qualifications may be required for certain specializations.

Entrance Examination

Candidates must pass the entrance exam administered by the Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University. A merit list is published after the examination.

Graduates of the M.Ed. program from Gramin Adarsha College are not limited to teaching. They can pursue careers in NGOs/INGOs, research institutes, curriculum development, training, administration, writing, journalism, counseling, and more.
